Nina's 6 week bran muffins 1 box 15oz bran flakes mix together 1 cup olive oil 3 cups sugar 4 beaten eggs 1 quart buttermilk add to sifter 5 cups flour 5 tsp baking soda 2 tsp salt sift together after combined mix all, add bran flakes, couple handsful of organic raisins let sit overnight in fridge. put batter in muffin pans with paper cup inserts 3/4 full use spoon to fill each insert. Bake at 400 deg. for 20 minutes, then feel if tops are squishy or not. If squishy, put back in for 4 more minutes and check again. Muffin tops should be brownish but not burnt. Remember they keep cooking for a while after you pull them out of oven, place on cooling racks.
